Inconsistent Mascot System and Character Story

The app currently uses at least three different mascot characters:

Neo, the black cat, which appears to be the main mascot

A smiling flame

A growing plant that develops as the user consumes more protein

At the moment, these characters do not appear to have a clear relationship with each other.
